John Purcell started his career at Merrill Lynch and then Lehman Brothers. In 1998 he became Marketing and Sales Manager for Fleet Card Fuels/Davies Oil, a progressive petroleum product distribution company. There he was responsible, among other roles, for Alternative Fuels Program (mainly CNG & LNG) development, along with new, fully automated technology for fuel monitoring. In 2000 he became a VP at Aegis Bancorp, a boutique Merchant Banking Company. At Aegis he successfully worked with breakthrough products in the hydrogen fuel cell, solar power, agro-forestry, and recycled product arenas. Most recently he is the founder of The Business Catalysts (“BizCats”). At BizCats he is continuing to focus on helping innovators and companies with promising technologies and solutions that can impact the environment on a powerful scale.
